Become a member of Sioux Valley Coop, we’ll put money back in your pocket!Hannah
Becoming a member of your local cooperative has many benefits! What is a coop, you might ask? Let us explain. A cooperative is a business that is owned and controlled by members, who are also referred to as patrons. We have the ability to adapt our business and invest based on the needs of our customers. We don’t have outside investors, which means all surplus revenue at the end of the year goes back into our patrons’ pockets. The revenue given back to our patrons is proportional to how much they utilize our products and services. The more you use, the more you receive in patronage. In other words, we’ll put money back into your pocket for simply purchasing the fuel for your car, or energy for your home or farm!
Since our cooperative formed 61 years ago, we have given back more than $27 million to patrons! In 2016, we gave back $0.22 cents per gallon of gas and diesel to patrons.
