No matter what,

What is a Cooperative?

A cooperative is a business that is owned and controlled by the members and has the ability to adapt and invest in the interest of its members. Rather than rewarding outside investors with its profits, a coop returns surplus revenue to its patrons in proportion to how much they use the co-op. Since its formation in 1956, Sioux Valley Co-op has paid back more than $27 million to patrons.

A membership with Sioux Valley Coop will benefit you! Simply put, a membership with Sioux Valley Coop is ownership! Our coop is owned and controlled by its local members. We don’t have outside investors, so our annual revenue goes back into our members’ pockets. That means, our members receive money back for simply purchasing gas for their car, or diesel for the farm. In 2016, Sioux Valley Coop paid back $1.7 MILLION dollars, or $0.22 per gallon to members! To be learn more or become a member call 886-5829 or complete the application below.
